Whelp, we did it! Hubbie and I tackled the big one!
We built an entertainment center out of plumber pipes and boards.
The project cost less than $600 in total so we definitely saved money over buying a pre-made unit. PLUS, this one is built-in! Also, we are able to take pride in knowing we did it!
We are still filling it in with our stuff and decorations of course, but it is pretty much done.
Hubbie and I did the math and went shopping. Three trips to Lowe's, two to Home Depot, and we had everything!
At home, I washed the pipes while Hubbie and our amazing three year old helper stained the boards.
For extra 'Ahh' factor we painted the wall a pale sea-foam blue.
With ALL THAT done, the project pieced together quickly.
Finally, the big one was complete! Hubbie even mounted the television on the wall. Love him!
